Job Title: Video Editor

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Editing YouTube videos, vlogs, and video podcasts in DaVinci Resolve

• Collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life while maintaining their unique style

• Working with a variety of video formats including lifestyle content, tutorials, and video podcasts

• Integrating b-roll, audio enhancements, text overlays, and graphics to create captivating videos

• Meeting weekly deadlines and completing revisions as needed

• Communicating with clients through email and collaborating with a team of fellow editors

Equipment Required:

• A computer/laptop that can handle large editing projects

• Fast internet connection for uploading and downloading large quantities of footage

• DaVinci Resolve (you can start with the free version, and upgrade when necessary)

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (this is a must!)

• Experience using Canva for creating graphics and YouTube thumbnails

• Familiarity with other platforms like Google Workspace, Notion, and Epidemic Sound (can be learned)

• Exceptional communication skills—our editors work directly with clients and need to clearly communicate ideas, suggestions, and progress

• Ability to work independently, while also being part of a team of editors

• Enthusiasm for collaborating and contributing to our team’s creative process during weekly meetings

Hours are based on clients, but we strive to ensure you have a steady flow of projects. Our systems and packages are designed for long-term client retention, and we provide consistent training to support your success. Once hired, you’ll have 1-2 weeks of onboarding as we assign new clients to your roster.
